English Abstract
In this thesis we give a general and elementary approach to the Sylow r-subgroups of the orthogonal groups for prime r distinct from the describing characteristic p.
Knowing the order of the Sylow r-subgroups, it is straightforward to give an explicit construction of the Sylow r-subgroups and hence getting information on isomorphism class of the groups and on action of the underlying vector space.
