يتناول هذا البحث دراسة ظاهرة الطلاقة و أنواعه في مجتمع مدينة عمان فقط من خلال الفترة (1931-1946 م) بالإستناد إلى سجلات المحكمة الشرعية، عمان، و بعد استعراض هذه الأسباب و تحليلها تبين لنا : إن عدم وجود الألفة و المودة و حسن المعاشرة بين الطرفين كان أعلاها نسبة في حدوث الطلاق، كما إن أكثر أنواع الطلاق حدوثا هو الخلع، الذي كانت بموجبة تقوم الزوجة بالتنازل عن مهرها أو دفع أموال نقدية لزوجها من أجل فسخ نكاحها.
مما أظهر على نحو واضح أن المرأة في المجتمع الأردني بدأت تحصل على حقوقها و تتحر من سيطرة الرجل.
Abstract EN
This study examines the types of divorce in Amman in the years 1931 to 1946, based on the records of the Islamic Law Court.
An analysis of the reasons for divorce reveals that the lack of intimacy, affection and well-being between the two parties are the most common cause of divorce.
The most common type of divorce was khal‘, in which the woman forgoes her dowry or makes a cash payment to annul the marriage.
It is clear that women in Jordanian society were beginning to gain their rights and become freed from the control of men.
