Abstract AR
Abstract EN
A field experiment was carried out on a sandy soil cultivated with peanut plants at Ismalia Agricultural Research Station to study the impact of applying Bio-organic materials (biocomposite) on some soil physical properties, its contents of organic matter, available N, P and K as well as the nutritional value of peanut seeds.
The obtained results indicated that applying 6 ton biocomposite / fed to the studied sandy soil resulted in the maximum decrease in soil bulk density value, and in turn the maximum increase in total porosity % as well as the maximum decrease in hydraulic conductivity.
In addition, the greatest values of organic matter and available N, P and K were also associated with applying 6 ton biocomposite / fed.
The maximum concentrations of P and K in peanut seeds and yield were obtained by applying 6 ton biocomposite / fed.
The application of bio-composite to the studied sandy soil intensified crude protein, essential-amino acids and oleic acid in peanut seeds.
In addition, trypsin inhibitors and phytic acid in peanut seeds were reduced by applying biocomposite.
This means that the nutritional value of peanut seeds increased as a result of applying bio-organic materials, which was a reflection of improvement of soil fertility and physical properties as well as yield of the grown peanut plants.
