Abstract AR
و هذه الطفيليات هي: Hoplocrepis sp , Cerocephala rufa Westwood , Ipideurytoma sp , Unidentified species (Family: Braconidae ), Raphitelus maculates ,Metacolus sp , Eurytomaspp1,Eurytoma spp2, Cerocephala (Neocaloster) sp., Dendrosoter protberans (Ness) Unidentified sp ,(Family: Bethylidae).(Ness).
Abstract EN
During the recent years, the shot-hole borer Scolytus amygdal, Guer.
(Coleoptera : scolytidae) became a serious pest in Egypt.
The pest live and feed under the bark in distinguishes tunnels.
Population fluctuation of S.
amygdali beetles and its parasitoids was carried out on apricot trees in Fayoum Crovernorate throughout 2002 and 2003 year.
Fluctuations of population density indicated that six and seven activity periods were occurred through 2002 and 2003 year respectively.
Ten species of S.
amygdali parasitoids were recorded from apricot cuttings collecting from Ibshawai district, El-Fayoum Governorate, these Parasitoids are, Holocrepis Sp., Cerocephala rufa Westwood, Ipideurytoma sp., unidentified species (Braconidae), Raphitelus maculate walker, metacolus sp., Eurytoma spp., Eurytoma spp.z Cerocephala sp.
(Neocloster), Dendoroster sp., unidentified species (Bethylidae).
The highest percentage of parasitism for simple parasitoids 59.9 % was recorded during February.
The general percentage of parasitism reached 14.6 % through 2002 year.
The highest percentage of parasitism for simple parasitoids 55.7 % was recorded during February.
The general percentage of parasitism reached 25.7 % through 2003 year.
