Abstract EN

The current research aims at studying effects of some modern technologies on wheat production per feddan and the total wheat production.

In addition, evaluation of changes in prices output and inputs have been investigated within the application of economical liberalization policy in agricultural secton.

The study is also aims at studying the most indicators that clarify the economical efficiency and productivity of wheat producers who use the modern technologies through using random sample at El-Fayoum Governorate 2004/2005.

The obtained results revealed that the wheat producers who use soil subsoiling and Sakha 93 and Giza 168 had positive relation ship for the used amounts of seeds, potassium and phosphorus fertilizers.

The used ratio Dummy variable showed that a transfer function rate was 5.3 and the total production elasticity was 0.54.

Also, there was a positive relationship for the used seeds amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers.

The users of new improed seeds and application of gypsum had a transfer function rate of 6.3.

However, it was 7.5 for new seeds, subsoiling and gypsum application users.

Concerning the production and economical efficiency measurements, it was revealed that raising of production costs when using the modern technologies, but the total income (return) was higher which reflect upon the net return increase.

Additionally, net return/costs ratio was found to be; 0.82 and 1.45 for improved seeds subsoiling and gypsum application non-users and users of new technologices, respectively
