Abstract EN

The study analysed and discussed the main problem related to the impact of internal and international variables on Jordanian-Iranian Relations (1999 - 2009).

The study showed that these variables had negatively influenced the relations between both countries, that were reflected on Jordanian-Iranian political relations.

As a result of that , they witnessed a lot of changes because they were not continuous or stable.

The shift between enmity and careful diplomacy was the main characteristic of those relations during that period.

Those relations did not witness a clear improvement, but during president Khatami's reign , these variables played an important role in determining the nature of the relations between both countries.
