English Abstract

We show explicitly that the microscopic loop operators (tr(M p)) in the Penner’s matrix model known as the generating function of the orb fold Euler characteristics of the moduli space of Riemann surfaces dose not exhibit a logarithmic singularity in the continuum limit, the operator (tr In (1-I √tm ),however, does exhibit a logarithmic singularity in the continuum limit.
