أجريت هذه الدراسة على قطيع من الجاموس (عدد 130) بمنطقة جناكليس بمحافظة البحيرة حيث كانت تعاني من احمرار في الجلد و تلون الشعر باللون الأحمر و تساقط في الشعر في عجول الجاموس حديثة الولادة, و فقدان الشعر صبغته في البعض الآخر إضافة إلى التواء الحافر مع نقص عام في خصوبة هذا القطيع و أظهرت نتائج التحليل لعدد 23 منها وجود نقص في عنصر النحاس عند تحليل مصل هذه الحيوانات حيث بلغ متوسط العنصر في مصل العجول حديثة الولادة 2,93 ± 0,78 ميكرومول لكل لتر بينما بلغ المتوسط في مصل الأمهات لتلك العجول 5,23 ± 0,48 ميكرومول لكل لتر مما دل على وجود نقص شديد في عنصر النحاس سواء في العجول حديثة الولادة أو أمهات تلك العجول و سلطت النتائج الضوء على ضرورة التحليل الدوري للعناصر النادرة في التربة و الأعلاف و كذا مصل الحيوانات للتفادي المبكر لمثل هذه المشكلة و التأكد من مستويات عنصر النحاس الطبيعية في العلائق الحيوانية.
Abstract EN
This study was conducted on ouJVido herd (i30 animals.
Janaklccz disL-iei, Debaira Provir.ee) showing a red hair and skin.
al!o;i*iei£ in newly bom buifalo calves ageing from one day up iu 15 days old.
Clinical examinatiou of the animals showed thai ll>e majority of buffaloes hi the herd had rough hair coat, loss of hair pigmentation in addition to curled toe in some adult buffaloes).
All the animals were sluggish in movcn>cui and had low fertility.
The mean scrum copper level recorded w;is 2.93±0.7K un>ol/T.
in buffalo calves while serum dams revealed a mean value of 5.23^0.48 iunol/1- Copper level in both neonates and their dams indicates a severs deficiency.
