This study aims to highlight the effectiveness of the rhetoric in text linguisticsthrough contributions of western rhetorician and ancient Arabs than for their efforts a significant impact oncontemporary concepts that had accompanied the text linguistics afterthe sixties of the nineteenth century,not to mention the procedural mechanismsinterest to the analysis of the languages of the texts and its functional principles, along with portlets that are interested in transformations from sentences grammar to texts grammar.

In order to highlightthese issues this article comes to activate the idea of rhetoric, especially proceduralgrounds in text linguistics.
