Abstract EN

The normal healthy control group contained ten subjects and sixty male human patients were selected from the hospital campus of the Zagazig University conducting a dialysis three times a week and classified according to dialysis in two major groups each group contain 30 patients.

The first one was less than one year of dialysis, and the other group was more than one year of dialysis.

Both groups were subdivided into three sub groups each included ten patients as following Renal Failure patients (20 patients) (RF) ; Renal Failure patients infected with hepatitis C virus (20 patients) (RFC) and Renal Failure patients infected with hepatitis B virus (20 patients) (RFB).

In this study the obtained results of urea nitrogen ; creatinine and uric acid in this type of disease showed highly significant increase comparing the patients with renal failure as well as the infection with hepatitis viruses either C or B along the different period of dialysis that reflects important role of the kidney in regulation of the internal environment of the body and homeostasis.

Because of urea ; creatinine and uric acid are the most and largest nitrogen end product of protein metabolism in mammals, urea is increase in the blood if kidney infected or damaged, liver disease, congestive heart failure, diabetes and infection or disease which impair kidney function
