أجريت هذه الدراسة على عدد 12 أرنب من الأرانب النيوزيلاندية البيضاء اللون، و ذلك لمعرفة مدى تأثير بقاء الأم لفترة طويلة في قفص الولادة على حياة الصغار. و قد أوضحت الدراسة النقاط التالية : لوحظ أن متوسط مدة بقاء الانثي الطبيعية في قفص الولادة في غير وقت الرضاعة (الحركة السريعة) كانت 28.25 ± 11.6 ثانية، في حين لم تلاحظ هذه الحركة السريعة بالنسبة للأم الخائفة.
لوحظ أن متوسط مدة بقاء الانثي الطبيعية في قفص الولادة في وقت الرضاعة 1.12 ± 4.5 دقيقة / يوم، في حين كانت الأم الخائفة لا تترك قفص الولادة خلال اليوم إلا في وقت الطعام و الشراب. زاد متوسط مدة حالة الثبات للأم التي تقضي مدة طويلة داخل قفص الولادة عن الطبيعية. زيادة مدة بقاء الأم الخائفة داخل قفص الولادة أجبرها على تلويثه بالبول و البراز. تشتت ذهن الأم الخائفة يجعلها تدخل قفص الولادة بسرعة و بدون إدراك تسحق إدراك تسحق الصغار تحتها بقدميها. المدة الطويلة التي تقضيها الأم الخائفة داخل قفص الولادة تؤدي إلى اختناق و موت صغارها. ثقل وزن الأم الخائفة داخل قفص الولادة يؤدي إلى الضغط الشديد على أجسام الصغار مما يؤدي إلى ظهر خطوط ظاهرية على أجسامهم بعد الوفاة. و قد خلص البحث إلى أن الأم الخائفة التي تبقى لفترة طويلة في قفص الولادة لها تأثير خطير على حياة الصغار في أول أيام حياتها و نوصي بالتأكد من سلامة و أحكام غلق الأبواب و النوافذ لمنع دخول أي زواحف أو قوارض.
Abstract EN
The aim of this study was to ascertain how the longer duration of stay of does inside the kindling box effect on the young bunnies’ health state.
The mean duration of stay inside the kindling box for the normal doe without suckling (flash movement) (sec.) was 28.25 ± 11.6 and for the frightened one there was no flash movement at all due to resident state of this doe inside the kindling box.
The duration of tonic immobility for does, which stayed for a longer period of time inside the kindling box increased significantly than the normal ones.
The frightened does would be in a confused temperament that led to enter the nest box rapidly so, it might trample its bunnies without any awareness.
The main result showed that frightened doe has a dangerous influence on its young bunnies during the first few days of their life.
It's highly recommended to pay attention for both windows and doors concerning their tightness.
