Abstract EN

This research falls underthe title ( the Aesthetics of the poetic language in Hamid's Abdulsamad Al-Basri poetry – it consists of two sections : In the first section ,we studied the poetic lexicon of the poet as it includes a variety of expressions and request styles .

in the second section , we studied the poetic sentence and its varieties , in the final conclusion , we explained all the results arrived at in this research .

they are as fallows : 1- the language of the poet is distinguished by transparency , tenderness and devoid of complexity and affection .

2-There are a variety of expressions in the poetic lexicon These expressions are of nature , love , grief , colour and others of colloquialism and heritage .

most of them are taken from his environment and heritage .

3-The request expressions vary between the styles of : questions , proclamation and order – most of them extend to other figurative types .

4- The verbal sentence occupies the central core of his poetic language , followed by the nominal sentence and the language of salience
