تهدف الدراسة الحالية معرفة تأثير المستخلصات الفينولية لأوراق نباتي النعناع spicata M.
البطنج M.
longifolia في مستوى الهرمونات الجنسية و التي تشمل الهرمون المحفز للجريبات FSH و الهرمون اللوتيني LH و الاستروجين و البروجسترون لإناث الجرذان المختبرية.
استعملت الجرعتان (200 و 400) ملغم / كغم من المستخلصات الفينولية للنباتين و حقنت الحيوانات تحث البريتون لمدة 30 يوم بواقع جرعة واحدة يوميا.
و أظهرت النتائج ارتفاعا معنويا في مستوى الهرمون المحفز للجريبات و الهرمون اللوتيني و الأستروجين و البروجسترون مقارنة مع مجموعة السيطرة المعاملة بالمحلول الفسلجي.
Abstract EN
The present work aimed to study the effect of phenolic compounds of Mentha spicata and Mentha longifolia on sex hormones level which including follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone(LH), estrogene and progesterone in female rats. Tow doses (200 and 400 mg/kg) from each plant were used and the animals were injected intraperitonially for 30 days as one dose/day.
The results indicated that phenolic extractes of M.
spicata and M.
longifolia caused a significant increase (P<0.05) in plasma (FSH), (LH), estrogene and progesterone when compared with control group, which treated with normal saline.
