The research aims at giving a brief summary of Nietzsche's attitude towards myth.

Nietzsche is one of the philosophers who paid great attention to myth because of its potentiality that tempted him to use it as a means to reveal his intellectual attitudes.

The research studies the significance of myth, which can be seen as a mirror reflecting the wellness of people.

It also studies the function of myth and Socrates and Euripides's role in its decadence.

He has, for example, acquired two names from the Greek mythology; Dionysus and Apollo.

Through these two figures, he formed his perspective of art and life.
