Abstract EN

In this paper we discuss two phase immiscible flow in porous media governed by a system of nonlinear partial differential equations raised from reservoir simulation.

Crank-Nicholson –Galerkin finite element method and lineari zed Crank-Nicolson –Galerkin finite element Predictor- corrector method are constructed respectively.

We show that the discretization error of linearized Crank-Nicholson-Galerkin method is ?(?2) , where ? refers to the time step for both schemes.
