تم إجراء هذه الدراسة لتقييم نوعية المياه الجوفية المستخدمة في بعض مزارع الدواجن الموجودة بمناطق مختلفة في محافظة الإسماعيلية بجمهورية مصر العربية.
تم تجميع خمسة و سبعين عينة مياه من آبار تقع في منطقة تربتها رملية (المنطقة أ) والمنطقة الأخرى تربتها طينية (المنطقة ب).
تم فحص العينات لدراسة بعض خصائصها الكيميائية و الفيزيائية مثل قياس درجة الحموضة، التوصيل الكهربائي، الأملاح الذائبة الكلية، النترات، الفوسفات الكلى، الكلوريد، الكبريتات، عسر الماء الكلي، الكالسيوم، الماغنسيوم، القلوية الكلية، البيكربونات و الكربونات.
أيضا تم فحص نسب بعض المعادن الثقيلة مثل الكادميوم، الرصاص، الزنك و الكوبالت.
و أوضحت النتائج زيادة ملحوظة في كل القياسات في المنطقة (أ) مقارنة بالمنطقة (ب) ما عدا الفوسفات الكلى و الزنك.
و هذا الفرق بين المنطقتين يمكن أن يعزى إلى أعماق الآبار المختلفة حيث أن عمق الآبار في المنطقة (أ) تتراوح من 20 إلى 135 م بينما في المنطقة (ب) الأعماق كانت تتراوح بين 7 و 11 م لذا كلما زاد عمق البئر زادت المسافة و الوقت اللازم لتحرك المياه الجوفية بين الرواسب و التربة و بدوره يصبح بالمياه الجوفية كميات من العناصر المذابة أكثر.
بينما في المنطقة (ب) استخدام الأسمدة الكيماوية مع الأعماق القليلة للآبار يمكن أن تكون سبب زيادة الفوسفات الكلى و الزنك بهذه المنطقة.
لوحظ أن تركيزات بعض المواد (مثل الكلوريد، الكبريتات، النترات، الكالسيوم، الماغنسيوم، الرصاص و الكادميوم) التي تم تحليلها تزيد عن الحد المسموح به لمياه شرب الدواجن.
و تم استعراض الآثار السلبية لهذه المواد على صحة الدواجن التي تربى بالمزارع التي تعتمد على مثل هذه المياه الجوفية.
Abstract EN
This work was carried out to assess groundwater quality used in some poultry farms.
A total of seventy five samples were collected from different areas in Ismailia province, Egypt.
Samples represented sandy soil wells (area A) and mud soil wells (area B).
Samples were examined for their physicochemical characteristics for various parameters such as pH, electrical conductivity (EC), total dissolved solids (TDS), nitrate (NO3), total phosphate (Po4-), sulfate (SO4), chloride (Cl-), Total hardness (TH), calcium (Ca2+), magnesium(Mg2+),Total alkalinity (T Alk), bicarbonate (Hco3-) and carbonates (Co3-),.
Also samples were tested for presence of some heavy metals such as cobalt (Co), zinc (Zn), lead (Pb) and cadmium (Cd) using standard procedures.
Results revealed a significant increase in all parameters in area (A) compared to area B, except phosphate and Zinc which were significantly higher in area B.
This difference between the two areas could be attributed to well depths whereas, in area (A) the depth of wells ranged between 20 to 135 meters while in area (B) the wells had depths of 7-11 meter, so groundwater take longer distance to move through the sediments, in turn it becomes more mineralized also using of chemical fertilizers in area B might have an effect on increasing both phosphate and zinc.
The health hazard effect of the different chemical on poultry performance was discussed.
