Abstract EN

Shifaa Al-ghalil is one of the scholarly books with many benifts, by ash – shihab Al-Khafaji (d.1069A.H) It is a dictionary of the outlandish words in the first class .

It also includes morphological and dialectical studies relevant to outlandish expressions it also tackles syntactic issues which have been investigated by the researcher.

The study does not mean that the researcher has pioduced a new synactic theary ; rather it is a matter weighing the opinions one against another to arrive at the best opinion the study containts two parts: First : Syntactic Issues that are controversial .

Secand: Syntactic Issues agreed upon the two parts are precededby an introdution and a conclusion in which are stated the following points : 1-controversial issues amount to 12 issues the author has been disting uished for six of them .

2-the issues agreed upon amount to 27 issues which are mentioned euher with an example of with out any example .

Most of which have included sub jndgement and rules attributed to the outhor’s personal efforts .

3-the syntact examples have varied the have included the Quran the ways of reading , tradition and speeches of narrators and poetry .

the awthor has followed the example of Az-zamakhshary in quoting poetry .
