تم التحري عن وجود فيتوبلاسما تضاعف التفاح (Candidatus phytoplasma mali) بغية تفسير ظهور بعض الأعراض الشاذة في الآونة الأخيرة على أشجار التفاح مثل : مكنسة الساحرة، و التلون الأحمر على أوراق التفاح في الخريف، و صغر حجم الثمار، و تطاول أعناقها و في بعض الأحيان تشوهها.
تمت دراسة حقل مؤلف من 160 شجرة تفاح من صنفي الغولدن و الستاركن في محافظة السويداء في موسم 2006، و ذلك باستخدام اختبار DAS-ELISA، باستخدام عينات من بتلات الأزهار في الر بيع، و من طرود خضرية في الصيف، و من تلف الطرود في الخريف، و من نهايات الجذور في أواخر الخريف.
تم الكشف عن فيتوبلاسما تضاعف التفاح في العينات المختبرة، و بلغت نسبة الإصابة 8.1 %، و لم نتمكن من الكشف عن هذه الإصابات إلا في العينات الجذرية فقط.
تأتي أهمية البحث من الكشف عن انتشار هذه المسببات في زراعة التفاح، و وجوب العمل على إنتاج مادة نباتية سليمة، علما بأن فيتوبلاسما تضاعف التفاح من المسببات المهمة المطلوب استبعادها من المادة الوراثية المعدة للإكثار والتداول.
Abstract EN
Apple proliferation phytoplasma Candidatus phytoplasma mali causes significant damage on apple trees, such as reduction in fruit size, sugar and acids content and trees growth and vigor, and in severe cases death of young trees.
A survey was conducted to identify the causal agent associated with some abnormal symptoms on apple trees such as whitch`s broom, leaf reddening in Autumn, small fruit size with elongated peduncle and sometimes fruits deformation.
Samples an apple orchard of 160 trees of Golden and Starking varieties in Al- Sewida governorate, were tested serologically by using DAS-ELISA.
Samples of petals in spring, leaves in summer, bark of shoots in autumn and roots in late autumn were collected.
Antiserum against apple proliferation was used.
Apple proliferation phytoplasma was detected in root samples only, and infection rate was 8.1%.
