Abstract EN

The current study was designed to establish the effect of the sex and BMI on the reference values of serum activities of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and acid phosphatase (ACP) in apparently healthy individuals.

One hundred eighty four apparently healthy subjects were enrolled, including 89 males and 95 females.

The evaluation of the sex differences indicated insignificant variation in males when compared with those in the females and the estimation of the BMI influence on the enzyme activities pointed out significant.
