Abstract EN

This research deals with the fundamental characteristics of the method of Al-Emam Sufyan Al-Thawri in the justice, accuracy and Esnad, and reveals the efforts of one of the most famous scholars who was interested in Hadith narrators to distinguish between the authenticated and weak Hadith.

It also reveals the method of Al-Thawri’s criticism approach of the narrators of Hadith, and explains why he narrated from the weak narrators.

This paper shed some light on the basic conditions of the authentic Hadith such as justice, accuracy, and Esnad.

Justice, according to Al-Thawri, is based on the accuracy of judging.

Also, Hadith adjustment is based on moderation and shows the right of the conditions of narrators.

Moreover he considers Esnad as a tool to the narrators.

Therefore this paper shows the Imam willing to request the Esnad from all Hadith narrators because it is a must in order to accept the Hadith narration.
