Abstract EN

This paper aims to give a brief explanation to the evolution of the Algerian Private Sector Investment Demand and the factors influencing it since the start of the economic reforms in 1994.

Starting from The theoretical framework, it can be said that the main determinants are the GDP, the rate of interest, the inflation rate and the variation in capital stock.

However.

this is not the case in a developing economy in which the degree of economic heterogeneity is high.

Knowing, the factors which have influences on the private sector investment decisions, this will give a better explanation to the behaviour of this variable and enables to estimate its future role in economic development.
