اهتم الإخوان المسلمون بقضية الإصلاح السياسي في مصر منذ نشأت الجماعة، فتعاملت معها وفقا للثوابت الإسلامية و المتطلبات الاجتماعية فتدرجت بمسالة الإصلاح فبدأت بالفرد فالأسرة فالمجتمع، و اخذ منها الجانب السياسي حيزا واسعا، فكان أهم مبادئها، الإيمان بالحوار و المشاركة السياسية و القبول بالآخر، فاشتركت بانتخابات مجلس الشعب المصري في البداية بالتحالف مع حزب الوفد و حصلت على بعض المقاعد.
و استمرت المشاركات في الانتخابات و كان أهمها انتخاب عام 2005 حيث حصل الإخوان على 20 % من مقاعد مجلس الشعب المصري، و بذلك أصبحت الجماعة أكبر قوة معارضة للحزب الحاكم، و كانت الجماعة قد طرحت مشاريع إصلاحية عديدة تضمنتها أفكار الجماعة في الإصلاح، و كان أهمها البرنامج الذي طرحه المر شد العام محمد مهدي عاكف عام 2004، عبر فيه عن آراء الإخوان الإصلاحية، مما عزز الفكرة لدى الجميع بأن للإخوان حضورا في الساحة و المستقبل السياسي في مصر.
Abstract EN
Since the rise of The Muslim Brothers, they interested in political reform in Egypt according to the Islamic principles and social requirements, which started with individual, family and then with society.
Political side was the more significant part of it, also dialogue, political participation and others acceptance.
They took part in the Egyptian people council elections firstly in alliance with AL-wafd party and gained few seats.
The 2005 elections were the most important for them in which they won 20 per cent of the seats and became the greater opposition power against the ruling party.
The larger reforming program pursuant to their ideas, that presented by the general adviser Mohammed.
