بتباين التاريخ الوطني للتعليم في دول الخليج العربي تباينا شديدا، ففي الوقت الذي تمتلك فيه بعض الدول كالعراق تاريخا تربويا ترجع جذوره إلى النصف الثاني من القرن التاسع عشر، نجد أن التعليم الرسمي الحديث يعد ظاهرة جديدة في معظم الدول الآخرى و منها قطر إذ أنه لم يبد إلا في الخمسينيات من القرن الماضي و البحث يتتبع نشأته و تطوره حتى طلع القرن الحادي و العشرين.
Abstract EN
National History of education in Arab Gulf States varies too much.
Some States like Iraq have educational history retuns back in its roots to the second half of 19th century.
We find that modern official education is considered a new phenomenon in all other states like Qatar which started in 1950’s.
The Paper follows up the rise and development of the official education till the beginning of the 21st century.
