Fish is an important source of supplying the animal protein, fish production depends on two sources, capture fisheries and fish farming.

Fish farming projects facing with many problems that hinder their success and achieve their goals.

This study aimed to identify the problems of fish farming at Babylon province, and determinate the relationship between some characters of fish breeders and the problems witch faced them.

The result shown that fish farming faced with many problems, there is a significant correlation between these problems and the numbers, the area of ponds.
