A series of new isoxathozolidines (4-6) were synthesized by 1, 3- dipolar cycloaddition reaction of different nitrones with thioacetamide under reflux condition.

The yields of products following recrystallization from various solvents, and characterized by spectral methods (IR, UV, TL, M.P), were used for identification of these compounds.

The biological activety show that the compounds have antibacterial activity.
