Te theme of eulogy occupies a large area in the Arabic poetry and we don't exaggerate if we say that there is no poet in the history of Arabic literature who did not use it in his poems or deal with it some or many times.

That is because the Arabs generally have the tendency to praise and tribute themselves, their folks and countries.

Though the theme of eulogy is so prevailed in our Arabic poetry, we don't see many studies which are concerned about it and deal with it as a direct purpose for study and research unlike other themes of poetry which receive big attention by the scholars and researchers.

I don't think that the theme of eulogy is less important than any other theme.
