Arabic Abstract

بين أشكال مختلفة من البرمجيات الخبيثة و مضارها على مستخدمي شبكة الانترنيت، فان الـ Botnet يعتبر أكثرها خطر أو تهديدا للمستخدمين حيث يتم التحكم بحواسيب المستخدمين عن بعد من قبل المهـاجمين، و الهجمات تقع على مستخدمي شبكة الانترنيت في المنازل و المدارس و الشركات و الحكومات في جميع أنحـاء العالم.

يقدم البحث دراسة مستفيضة حول الـ Botnet و الـ Bot و كيف يتم الكشف عنهـا فـي شـبكات الانترنيت و تتضمن تاريخ الـ Botnet، دورة حياة الـ Botnet، تقنيات كشف الـ Botnet، و دراسة تقنيات كشف الـ Botnet، و أخيرا اقتراح تصميم نظام لكشف (koobface) Botnet الذي يقوم بمهاجمة مـستخدمي الموقع الالكتروني FACEBOOK.

English Abstract

Among the various forms of malware, Botnets are emerging as the most serious threat, Botnets, remotely controlled by the attackers, and whose members are located in homes, schools, businesses, and governments around the world.

This paper is a survey about Botnet and how Botnet is detected.

The survey clarifies Botnet history, Botnet lifecycle, Botnet detection techniques, and proposed software has ability to detect (koobface) Botnet which attacks facebook website.
