تتناول الدراسة الحالية معالجة موضوع التحدي في شخصية انتيكون و هي إحدى بطلات جين انويل في مسرحيته الشهيرة انتيكون و تبين هذه الدراسة أن هذه البطلة تحدت إرادة عمها الملك كريون, ملك ثيبس إذ يظهر الصراع الجدلي بين الاثنين أن مثالية تلك المرأة الشابة هي ما دفعها لأن تقف بوجه ذلك الملك مفضلة الموت على قبول المساومة و الرضوخ.
Abstract EN
The present research focuses on studying the defiance of Jean Anouilh's heroine Antigone in his famous play Antigone.
She rebels against the will of her uncle, Creon, king of Thebes.
The argumentative battle between Antigone and Creon reveales that the idealism of that young woman stands behind her defiance.
She rejects the materialistic world and embraces death rather than compromise and surrender.
