Abstract EN
Perhaps, the most outstanding traits that weather proverbs exhibit are those that are directly coupled with all relevent factors in the environment, social conventions and shared experience of the participants. Those socially distinctive characteristics of the setting essentially correlate with the cluster of artefacts, rules of behaviour and cast of characters in the external world.
The accumulated factors,in return, instinctively affect the cognitive and sociable ability of the user of such sayings.
Hence, this paper is an attempt towards revealing those salient sociocultural features identifying a certain type of sayings as proverbs of weather.
