This study involves the preparation of three azodyes derived from 1-hydroxy- 2-naphthoic acid and sulfadiazine derivatives.

The characterization of Dyes 4-(sulfadiazineazo)-1-hydroxy-2-naphthoic acid ( FR1R), 4-(sulfamerazineazo)-1-hydroxy2-naphthoic acid (FR2R) and 4-(sulfamethazineazo)-1-hydroxy2-naphthoic acid (FR3R) have been described by C.
