جرى تكثيف مركبات كربونيلية خارج حلقية غير مشبعة في الموقعين ألفا، بيتا (ш-I) مع سيتانو اسيتاميد في وجود مادة قاعدية، فتكونت مشتقات بيريدين -2- أون المقابلة (VI-IV).
و قد تم اثبات تركيب هذه النواتج باستخدام الطرق الكيمائية و الطيفية.

Exocyclic o,B - unsaturated cyclic carbonyl cornpounds I-IU were condensed with cyanoacetamide in presence of a base to yield the corresponding pyridin-2-ones IV-VL The structure of all products was substantiated by chernical and spectral methods .
