إن الباحث هو أستاذ مختص بتدريس اللغة الإنكليزية و يهدف إلى إجراء تقويم إلى كتاب اللغة الإنجليزية الذي يدرس في الصف الثاني للمرحلة المتوسطة "Iraq Opportunities" منذ أن تم اعتماده من قبل وزارة التربية في عام 2010 / 2011.
بعد الإطلاع على الكتاب المطلوب, وجد الباحث إلى أن هذا الكتاب المدرسي فيه ضعف يحتاج إلى دراسة و تحليل و تحليل و تقييم.
و منذ ذلك الحين, حيث ان الباحث كان على اتصال مع المدرسين الذين يقومون بتدريس هذا الكتاب المدرسي.
حيث أن الكثير من المدرسين كان يشكو بعض الصعوبات في التعامل مع الكتاب المدرسي, و بعضهم كان غير راضي عن نتائج اختبارات التحصيل, و البعض الآخر غير راض عن استيعاب الطلاب لهذه المادة حيث تعاني من فقر في بعض مكوناته. و ينظر لفكرة تقييم الكتب المدرسية من قبل بعض لتكون مرتبطة بشكل وثيق لعملية اختيار الكتب المدرسية.
تقييم يساعد على التحديد و التي هي بمثابة عملية صنع القرارات الهامة, كما يقول شيلدون.
"إن اختيار حجم المؤشرات خاص يشير إلى اتخاذ قرار تنفيذي في التعليم و الذي يمثل قدر كبير من المهنية, و الاستثمارات المالية و حتى السياسية.
فإن هذا المستوى الرفيع يعني أن تعريف و تطبيق معايير منهجية لتقييم الكتب الدراسية هي ذات الأهمية حيوية" (1988:237). تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى : 1.
تقييم كتاب اللغة الإنجليزية "Iraq Opportunities" للمرحلة المتوسطة الصف الثاني من وجهة نظر المدرسين. 2.
عرض مقترحات و توصيات المدرسين التي ستساعد في تطوير المنهج. و تقتصر هذه الدراسة إلى : 1.
كتاب اللغة الإنجليزية "Iraq Opportunities" للمرحلة المتوسطة الصف الثاني. 2.
مدرسي اللغة الإنكليزية المعنيين بتدريس مراحل الصف الثاني المتوسط الموجودة في بغداد الكرخ (1). و عرضت العديد من الدراسات السابقة ذات الصلة و تمت مناقشتها. أن مجتمع البحث هو من مدرسي اللغة الإنجليزية في المرحلة المتوسطة في بغداد / الكرخ (1) خلال العام الدراسي (2010 - 2011) و المدارس المتوسطة و الثانوية في بغداد / الكرخ (1) خلال العام الدراسي (2010 - 2011). حيث تم بناء الاستبيان الخاص بذلك و احتوى على 42 فقرة بالإضافة إلى سؤال واحد مفتوح الإجابة.
لتحقيق الإجابة.
لتحقيق صلاحية محتوى الأداة, تم عرض الاستبيان على لجنة من الخبراء المختصين في مجال تدريس اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة أجنبية, تم حساب دقة فقرات الاستبيان باستخدام الأساليب الإحصائية المناسبة. و جرى استعراض النتائج و مناقشتها و منها ثم وضعت اقتراحات و توصيات في نهاية الدراسة الحالية .
Abstract EN
The researcher as a teacher of English intended to evaluate the 2nd Intermediate stage English textbook "Iraq Opportunities" since it was adopted by the Ministry of Education in the year 2010/2011.
After reviewing the desired book, the researcher found out that this textbook have many weak issues need to be studied, analyzed and evaluated.
Since then, the researcher has been in contact with the teachers who teach this textbook.
Some often complain of the difficulties in dealing with the textbook; others are dissatisfied with the results of the students' achievement tests and not satisfied with the students' comprehension to the material existed in this book which covered by poor production.
The idea of evaluating textbooks is seen by some to be closely linked to the selection of textbooks.
The evaluation helps the selection, which serves as an important decision-making process, as Sheldon puts it, "The selection of a particular core volume signals an executive educational decision in which there is considerable professional, financial and even political investment.
This high profile means that the definition and application of systematic criteria for assessing course books are vital.'(1988:237)
