Abstract EN

This paper shows that some European and American evangelical efforts in Iraq churchs were eager to do an during the years under discussion, so they sent their missions there.

The main evangelical object of these missions proved at end to be failure, for they have induced only few Iraqis to abandon their old religion .

At the other hand, they were successful in their medical and educational activities which were highly appreciated by the natives.It is proved by this paper also that these missions have served directly or indirectly the interests and influences of their states.
