تتناول هذه الدراسة المشكلات اللغوية أمام المتعلمين للغة الإنكليزية و الغرض الأساس من هذا العمل هو مناقشة و على نحو مقتضب أنواع الأخطاء و أسباب هذه الأخطاء.
وكثير من هذا النقاش يرتبط ارتباطا وثيقا بالتداخل اللغوي بين العربية و الإنكليزية و ذلك في مجالات الإملاء و التلفظ و بعض السمات النحوية.
و تقدم الدراسة بعض المضامين التعليمية بشأن الأخطاء.
و هذه الدراسة من الأهمية بمكان خاصة بالنسبة لأولئك التي تكون اللغة الإنكليزية هي اللغة الثانية مما يجعلهم أكثر انتباها لتجنب هذه الأخطاء.
