Abstract AR
Abstract EN
This paper describes the effect of the addition of various volume fraction (0-٤ %) of short natural fibres on the behavior of the composites.
An experimental work has been carried out to study the mechanical properties of Roselle fibre-reinforced cement composites.
The results show that the tensile strength of composite increases, (this increase in strength is about 53 %), while the compressive strength decreases as the fibre volume fraction is increased.
