The aim of this study is to examine the critical success factors for the adoption of electronic banking in the context of Malaysia.
Dimensions such as trust, costs, security and privacy were examined.
Results from a survey involving 268 respondents in Malaysia show user trust and privacy concerns have the highest effect towards electronic banking adoption in Malaysia.
The flndings of this study would help the banking sector to better understand their online banking market segment, their perception and behaviors in relation to using online banking services.
