International arbitration and its operational importance to the regional organizations on border disputes is one of contemporary subject of global importance.

This subject is also crucial in another sense.

It casts reflections on the steady development of world nations.

For, arbitration is considered an effective channel for resolving international problems.

Included among the latter is the border dispute.

In recognition to this reality, the present research represents an earnest endavour on the subject.

In the opening pages, the researcher unfolds that most world Conventions stress the importance of arbitration.

Nevertheless, international conflicts witness constant rise.

Among such conflicts, border disputes are decisive.

This is in disregard to the consideration that the United Nations is consistent in undertaking its efforts to resolve such disputes.

It necessitates, therefore, that regional organizations should advance and take the initiative.
