Information hiding in animated images by using DCT

Steganography is hiding and transmitting secret messages through apparently innocuous carriers in an effort to conceal the existence of them.

The carrier can be anything used to transfer information, including, e-mail, audio, video, images, messages, disk partitions and disk space.

The proposed system is for hiding a text message in animated images using (DCT) transformation, and then importing these images to the e-mail card which is designed by Macromedia Flash software.

Animation has been chosen because it is widely used in many applications on the Internet (Web pages) in general and in e-mail cards in particular.

Macromedia flash SWF (ShockWave File) has been chosen as it is recognised by all browsers and it is easily distributed which ensures that it lead itself to this type of activity without drawing attention to itself.
