تشكل التدرن مشكلة صحية عامة في مدينة كركوك، لذا تصف هذه الدراسة الاختلافات في بارامترات دموية في ثلاثون مرضى (15 ذكر و 15 أنثى) بالتدرن الرئوي الغير معالج و تم مقارنتهم مع ثلاثون أشخاص أصحاء (15 ذكر و 15 أنثى) كسيطرة.
أظهرت النتائج أن المرضى كان عندهم معدلات ذات مستويات معنوية واطئة من تركيز الهيموكلوبين مقارنة بالأصحاء، و لكن عند مقارنة هذه المعدلات بين ذكور و إناث المرضى لم يلاحظ أي اختلافات معنوية.
اختلافات معنوية ظهرت في بارامترات خلايا الدم الحمراء و التي تضمنت معدل كمية الهيموكلوبين في كل كرية دم حمراءMCH) mean cell hemoglobin (، معدل تركيز الهيموكلوبين في كل كرية حمراء mean cell hemoglobin concentration( MCH) و معدل حجم كرية دم حمراء mean cell volume (MCV) في مجموعة المرضى، و هذه الاختلافات كانت أكثر تكرارا في الذكور مقارنة بالإناث.
فيما يتعلق بالخلايا الدم البيضاء، لم يلاحظ أي اختلافات معنوية في معدل كل من عدد خلايا دم البيضاء الكلي، الخلايا العدلة neutrophil خلايا وحيدات النواة monocytes و الخلايا اللمفية lymphocytes بين الرضي و مجموعة الأصحاء.
من الملاحظات المهمة الأخرى التي لوحظت في هذه الدراسة كانت شذوذ في معدل عدد الصفيحات الدموية و التي كانت معنويا أعلى مقارنة بتلك في مجموعة الأصحاء.
بالنتيجة استنتجت هذه الدراسة أن أكثر حالات الشذوذ الدموية التي لوحظت في مرضى التدرن الرئوي في مدينة كركوك هي فقر دم من النوع Normocytic normochromic و حالة الصفيحات الدموية Thrombocytosis.
Abstract EN
Tuberculosis (TB) is apublic health problem in Kirkuk city.
this study describes differences in hematological parameters in 30 patients (15 male and 15 female) with untreated pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB) and compared them with those of 30 normal age and sex–matched controls.
The results showed that the patient had significantly lower hemoglobin levels than the healthy group but no significant differences was observed between males and females.
Asignificant differences in red blood cell parameters including Mean cell hemoglobin (MCH), Mean cell hemoglobin concentration (MCHC), and Mean cell volume (MCV) in patients group, and these differences were more frequently in males than in females.
Regarding Leukocyte indices, no differences observed in mean total white blood cell count, neutrophils, monocytes and lymphocytes between all patients and healthy group.
Another interesting observation was abnormal Platelet count (PLT) which was significantly higher in patients than those of healthy group.
In conclusion the most common hematological abnormalities observed in Kirkuk PTB patients was Normocytic normochromic anemia and thrombocytosis (high platelet count).
