تضمنت هذه الدراسة 94 مريض من التهاب الأذن الوسطى القيحي حيث تم تقسيمها إلى ثلاثة مجاميع.
المجموعة الأولى تم معالجتها بواسطة الغسل الأذني فقط، المجموعة الثانية عولجت بالغسل الأذني + قطرات موضعية من السبروفلاكساسين، المجموعة الثالثة عولجت باستعمال الغسل الأذني + مسحوق موضعي من اليود مع حامض البوريك.
كانت النتائج 13 %، 63 %، 87 % على التوالي.
الاستنتاج : الغسل الأذني + خليط مسحوق اليود مع حامض البوريك هو الأكثر تأثيرا كمعقم موضعي في علاج المرضى الذين يعانون من التهاب الأذن الوسطى القيحي المزمن مع العلاج بواسطة الغسل الأذني + قطرات من السبروفلاكساسين.
Abstract EN
94 patients with CSOM divide in to 3 groups 1stgroup treated with aural toilet (AT) only, 2nd group aural toilet + quinolone (Ciprofloxacin) drop locally, 3rd group aural toilet+ BI(Boric acid iodine) powder locally .
The results were 13 %, 63 %, 87 % respectively.
Conclusion : AT + BI powder is more effective as a local antiseptic treatment for CSOM than AT+ local antibiotic (quinolone) drop.
