مع اليوريا و عند وسط قاعدي من ميثوكسيد الصوديوم.
كما حضرت بعفن المعقدات الفلزية الجديدة للأيونات (الكالسيوم، الكوبلت، النيكل، النحاس، الخارصين، الكادميوم و الزئيق) الثنائية التكافؤ مع الليكاند(L), شخص الليكاند مع معقداته الفلزية بالطرق الطيفية المتوفرة ومنها طيف الرنين النووي المغناطيسH and ¹³CNMR)¹ )طيف الأشعة تحت الحمراء، طيف الأشعة فوق البنفسجية و المرئية إضافة إلى تعيين نسبة الفلز في المعقدات بواسطة طيف الامتصاص الذري، قياس التوصيلية المولارية لمحاليل المعقدات في مذيب ثنائي مثيل سلفوكسايد (DMSO) و قياس العزم المغناطيسي المؤثر للمعقدات الصلبة.
و من نتائج هذه الدراسات التشخيصية أمكن إعطاء الصبغة العامة لهذه المعقدات وكالاتي XH2O.
[MLCL2(H2O)] حيث M = الايون الفلزي (Ca+2 ٬ Co+² ٬ Ni+² ٬ Cu+² ٬ Zn+² ٬ Cd+²و (Hg+2, X= خمس جزئيات ماء مع معقد الكادميوم فقط،L = (Pentulose-y-Lactone-2-3enedibenzoate barbituric acid).

New (pentulose-γ-lactone-2,3-enedibenzoate barbituric acid) (L) have been synthesized by reaction of (5-C-dimethyl malonyl-pentulose-γ-lactone-2, 3-enedibenzoate) with urea in alkaline media (sodium methoxide).
(Ca+2, Co+2, Ni+2, Cu+2, Zn+2, Cd+2 and Hg+2) complexes of (pentulose-γ-lactone-2, 3-enedibenzoate barbituric acid) (L) have been prepared and characterized by (1H and 13CNMR), FTIR, (U.
V-Vis) spectroscopy, Atomic absorption spectrophotometer (A.

S), Molar conductivity measurements and Magnetic moment measurements, and the following general formula has been given for the prepared complexes [MLCl2(H2O)].XH2O, where M = (Ca+2, Co+2, Ni+2, Cu+2, Zn+2, Cd+2, Hg+2), X = five molecules with (Cd+2) complex, L = (pentulose-γ-lactone-2,3-enedibenzoate barbituric acid).
