تم إجراء تجارب الهضم المعملي و ثلاث تجارب هضم و ميزان أزوت على تسعة من ذكور الأغنام التي تتناول علائق تحتوي على دريس نبات الكوخيا أو / و قش الأرز مع العلف المركز و قد تمت دراسة معاملات الهضم و ميزان الأزوت و بعض قياسات الدم على الأغنام المغذاة على العلائق المختبرة و المحتوية على دريس نبات الكوخيا.
دلت نتائج تلك الدراسة على أنه يمكن استخدام دريس نبات الكوخيا (خاصة العائق المحتوية على 50% دريس الكوخيا مع 50% علف مركز) في علائق الأغنام بنجاح دون ظهور أي تأثير غير مرغوب على نشاط القناة الهضمية أو وظائف الكبد و الكلى و كان أداء الحيوانات جيدا.
Abstract EN
An in vitro trial and three digestibility and nitrogen balance trials were conducted on rams fed rations containing Kochia hay and/ or rice straw and concentrate feed mixture.
Digestion coefficients, ni-trogen balance and some serum parameters for sheep fed experimental rations containing Kochia hay were determined.
Results indicated that the use of Kochia hay (especially the ration including 50 % Kochia hay with CFM) in sheep rations is useful and does not cause any ab-normal condition on digestive tract, liver and kidney functions and an-imal performance as well.
