Judicial following up of the Judicial Probation is considered one of the new trends of contemporary criminal policies which no longer separate the two stages of handing down the verdict and implementing it but rather consider the lawsuit an entity of successive rings starting from committing the crime and ending with the rehabilitation and reforming of the sentenced.

This evolvement of criminal policies goes in line with the evolvement of attitudes towards criminals and punishment.

Judicial supervision gives judges various jurisdictions enabling them to amend or change, decrease or increase or both actions the measures stated in the verdict.

The study reviewed the legal provisions of Legal Supervision in UAE and set forth hindrances of implementation and put forth its recommendations.
