يتناول هذا البحث تحديد العمر و معدلات النمو و النفوق و الإنتاج لمصائد الروبيان أم نعيره (بينيوس سميسلكيتس) بناء على العينات التي تم تجميعها من منطقة جيزان (البحر الأحمر, المملكة العربية السعودية) خلال الفترة من أغسطس 2002 إلى يوليو 2003م.
تم استخدام البيانات التكرار الطولى للعينات الشهرية في تحديد أنماط النمو المعاملات المرتبطة بها كل من الذكور و الإناث.
كما تم تحديد ثوابت معادلة فون بورتلانفى, و طول الدرقة اللانهائي (.L), و معامل النمو(K), و نطاق النمو(C), و المعامل الشتوى(WP) على التوالي 58,5 مم, و 0,8 سنه -1 ,10,0 , 0,80 للإناث و التوالي 44,9مم, و 0,7 سنه -1, 0,40 , 0,10 للذكور.
قد تم تعيين معدل النفوق الكلي بمقدار 3,937 و النفوق الطبيعي 1,649 و النفوق نتيجة عمليات الصيد 2,288 (عام)-1 للإناث حيث ظهرت أعلى من القيم المناظرة للذكور (3,599, و 1,588 , و 2,011 (عام)-1) على التوالي.
كما أوضحت الدراسة أن معدل الاستهلاك الحالي للإناث ( 0,581) و الذكور (0,55) بينما معامل الاستغلال الأمثل هو 0,583 للإناث و 0,659 للذكور.
Abstract EN
Population characteristics of green tiger prawns, Penaeus semisulcatus taken by shrimp trawlers in Jizan area was investigated during the period from August 2002 to July 2003.
Monthly lengthfrequency data were used to estimate the growth curves and related parameters for both females and males.
The mean asymptotic carapace length (L∞), growth constant (K), amplitude of growth (C) and winter point (WP) were respectively, 58.5 mm, 0.8 year1, 0.100 and 0.800 for females and 44.9 mm, 0.7 year1, 0.400 & 0.100 for males.
The annual mortality coefficients and current exploitation rate for females were estimated at slightly higher values (Z = 3.937 year1, M = 1.649 year1, F = 2.288 year1 and Ecurrent = 0.581) than those of males (Z = 3.599 year1, M = 1.588 year1, F = 2.011 year1 and Ecurrent = 0.550).
Maximum exploitation rate for females and males of Penaeus semisulcatus was estimated as 0.583 and 0.695 respectively.
