Abstract EN

Tergeng's classification is one of the comprehensive biochimate classifications, because it depends on several climate elements, such as temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, and period of solar radiation.

The data used in this research have been obtained from ten climate stations distributed through three environments; Jordan valley , eastern mountains , and desert.

The data covered the climatic period of thirty years ago.

Two indices used to evaluate the tourist climate; comfort and speed of were cooling, in four situations including general, complex, days, and night comfort.

As shown in this research, the number of months during which tourists feel comfortable is different in the three environments during day or night.

But, the moderate climate MA indues of the months* The Jordan valley is an attractive tourist area in winter, eastern mountains in summer, and the desert in some months because of its high elevation of sea level
