Abstract AR

Abstract EN

In this work activated carbon was prepared using oxidation-condensation process.

The carbonization and activation was conducted at 550 ± 25 °C for 3 hrs.

using excess amount of sodium hydroxide.

The activated carbon was irradiated using gamma rays at room temperature for different periods of time.

The amount of adsorbed phenol was studied before and after irradiation at different conditions.
