في هذه الدراسة تم تحصين البيض الخالي من المسببات المرضية عند عمر 18 يوم من العمر الجنيني بلقاحات مختلفة من لقاحات مرض التهاب غدة كيس فابريشي المعدي في الكتاكيت.
و كانت هذه اللقاحات إما بمفردها أو مقترنة بزيت حبة البركة كمنشط مناعي.
و قد لوحظ أن اللقاح المحتوي على عترة ضعيفة الضراوة لم يكن له تأثيرا سلبيا شديدا على معدل الفقس بين الأجنة المحقونة به أو على الكتاكيت التي فقست بعد ذلك خلال الأسبوع الأول من حياتها.
بينما كان للقاح المحتوي على عترة متوسطة الضراوة بعض التأثيرات السلبية على معدل الفقس و الإصابة بين الكتاكيت الناتجة من البيض المحصن به و خاصة في الأيام الأولى من حياتها، و بالتالي لم يكن مناسبا للحقن داخل أجنة البيض و خاصة الخالية من المناعة الأمية.
على الجانب الآخر كان استخدام زيت حبة البركة آمنا لمثل هذا النوع من التحصين ضد مرض الجمبورو.
Abstract EN
In this study, specific-pathogen free chickens as embryos at the 18 day of embryonation were vaccinated with infectious bursal disease (IBD) vaccine viruses of low and of moderate virulence either done or in combination with Nigella sativa oil.
The vaccine of low virulence did not adversely affect hatchability of chicks or survival of hatched chicks and developed antibody against IBDV.
On the other hand, the vaccine virus of moderate virulence was found to be not suitable for use in SPF-embryos (that free from maternal antibodies) as it caused extensive bursal damage in chickens of embryo vaccinated group.
The IBD vaccines, especially of low virulence nature, could be combined with Nigella sativa oil and safely used as embryo-vaccination vaccine.
