في عام 2005 تعرضت مدينة الفلوجة إلى حملة عسكرية أدت إلى تهجير العوائل منها إلى مناطق متعددة.
و بهدف تقييم الحالة التغذوية للأطفال دون الخامسة من العمر ثم فحص 687 طفلا في خمس مناطق تجمع، و أظهرت النتائج أن نسبة 19.6 % من الأطفال كانوا يعانون من الإسهال و 48.5 % أصيبوا بالالتهابات التنفسية الحادة.
و كانت نسبة الأطفال الذين يعانون من سوء التغذية المزمن (نقص الطول إلى العمر) 20 % أما الأطفال الذين يعانون من سوء التغذية العام (نقص الوزن إلى العمر) فكان 4.1 % و سوء التغذية الحاد (نقص الوزن إلى الطول) 0.5 %.
Abstract EN
In 2005 Falluga city had an humanitarian crisis situation, characterized by armed conflict.
Larg population displaced.
To assess the nutritional status of under five children, a check of 678 child in five places of Internal Displaced Peoples .
was achieved The results indicated that 19.6%, 48.5% of the children had diarrhea and acute respiratory infection.
Twenty percent of the children had achronic malnutrition while 4.1% & 0.5% had a general and acute malnutrition.
