Abstract AR
The rates for the photo induced electron transfer reactions in the Methylene blue MB" dye with benzophenone (AB?) ketone in variety solvents at room temperature have been calculated .
Electron transfer rates are large in strongly polar solvent and week in less polar solvent.
The high values of the rates of electron transfer indicate that the dye triplet is more reactive toward ABP ketone.
