2,4,6)s؛The Synthesis of a new Schiff base ligand N,N- b ,٠٠١٠؛^ ,'11؛t$ complexes with Co؛ trihydroxy methyl) benzidine [H6L] and Zn(ll> ,and Cd(I1) are reported .
The ligand was prepared by the ,١ ٧٠€ '■2,4,6 4,4-amino-biphenyl benzidine with ٠٢ reaction trihydroxyacetophenon monohydrate under reflux in methanol as soient ؛؛and a few drops of glacial acetic acid .
Then the complexes were synthe ٨؛ by adding the corresponding metal salts to the solution of the ligand methanol □nder reflux with 2:1 metal to ligand ratio.
On the basis of, molar conductance, I.R., UV'-Vis.
chloride content and atomic absorption the complexes may be formulated as 0] [M=Co.Ni,Cu,Zn and Cd] .
